The week-long festival offers a diverse menu of luxurious dinners, themed cocktail parties and our signature event, the Great Arizona Picnic featuring 50 restaurants, chef demonstrations, live local bands and specialty tasting venues.
The festival features daily themed events. Here's the basic schedule:
Tuesday 4/9: Shaken and Stirred
A full bar will be available for other imbibing and tunes will be provided by local favorites.
Wednesday 4/10: Chocolate and Wine Experience
The Valley’s top chocolatiers come together to provide your sweet tooth with an experience like none other: unique and wonderful chocolate creations expertly paired with wines from around the world.
Thursday 4/11: Bubbles & Bliss / Burger Battle
Unlike any other tasting event in the Valley, Bubbles & Bliss is overflowing with effervescence, making this champagne party one of the most exceptional nights out.
Sixteen of the best chefs and restaurants will compete for the coveted title of 2013 Best Burgers in the Valley. We challenge our guests to taste all 16 burgers, then vote for the burger with the best bite to bestow the People’s Choice Award.
Friday 4/12:Eat, Drink and be Pretty
Your fashion-forward experience begins as you walk the red carpet into an evening of food sampling from 20 of the Valley’s favorite restaurants and wine tasting with several unique wineries. The evening includes a spring fashion show presented by Cache, music from DJ P-Body inside and Las Vegas show band True to Life outside offering you all the ingredients for a stellar Eat, Drink and Be Pretty evening.
Saturday 4/13: Great Arizona Picnic / Chef Wine Winners
The Great Arizona Picnic presents a weekend of culinary and beverage tasting experiences. Guests wind through the gardens and fountains of the Civic Mall in downtown Scottsdale while they sample tasty bites from over 50 Valley restaurants, watch cooking demonstrations from top chefs and enjoy locally crafted music on two stages.
Join award-winning chefs at some of the Valley’s top restaurants for a series of exclusive four-course dinners paired with rich vintage wines.
Sunday 4/14: Great Arizona Picnic / Wine Country Brunch / Best of Fest
The Great Arizona Picnic continues
Bask in the sunshine, sip on mimosas, and peruse outstanding silent auction items, taste and vote for your favorite brunch bites from some of the Valley’s top restaurants.
Ten amazing restaurants will create unique, five-course, wine-paired dinners crafted table-side by the chef. Each chef will serve two tables, decorating the setting to capture the essence of their cuisine and restaurant. Best of the Fest is the perfect way to celebrate the festival’s finale.
